Let me be honest here. I love peanut butter. When I went paleo, it was easy enough to give up but every now and then I get a hankering and boy do I get it bad! I was having one of these cravings when I dreamed up this slice.
I had been dreaming up this bad boy for a few days and my cravings finally got the best of me! Whilst peanuts aren’t strictly paleo I personally find they don’t give me any digestive problems so I choose to include them on the odd occasion! I do notice if I over indulge too frequently (read: by dipping the tablespoon into the jar and “accidentally” eating half a jar) that I do get a little bloated and heavy, which is enough to keep me away from peanut butter on most occasions.
To me there are few combinations better than peanut butter and chocolate. I mean, it’s right up there with maple and bacon, chicken and waffles, as well as donuts and my mouth.
This slice is dairy, grain and gluten free, with no added refined sugar.

Hi Elora, does this freeze well?
I haven’t tried it myself, but I’m sure it would!
